Our Lemon Blueberry Sourdough Loaf is a stunning balance of vibrant, zesty flavor and classic artisan craftsmanship. By rubbing fresh lemon zest directly into the flour, we capture the bright, aromatic essential oils of the citrus, cutting beautifully through the rich tang of our long-fermented dough.
Instead of using fresh berries—which can make the dough soggy and compromise the crumb—we use premium dried blueberries. During the long fermentation and baking process, these berries absorb just enough ambient moisture to plump back up into tender, intensely concentrated, jammy pockets of midnight-purple sweetness.
